Custom ID card design for a construction company with a cultural touch from Nabire, Papua.
In 2024, Lestari Nauli Jaya—a construction company—reached out to us for a design solution during their active project in Nabire, Papua. They needed professional ID cards for their team that felt simple, functional, and also reflective of the local culture.
We developed a layout using a calm blue and white color scheme to keep the design clean and professional, while enhancing readability. The typography was intentionally chosen to be legible at a glance, considering the active worksite environment.
To honor the location, we added subtle illustrated elements featuring iconic Papuan imagery, including local birds and regional architectural shapes from Nabire. These elements gave the ID cards a unique personality while maintaining a corporate look.
The final design balanced simplicity and cultural representation—making the ID cards not just tools, but subtle expressions of identity and place.
